Chinese food deliverer assaulted and robbed in Valley Stream

A female Chinese food deliverer was assaulted and robbed when she was delivering food to an Arkansas Drive residence on Aug. 20 at 2:55 p.m., Nassau County police say.

According to detectives, three unknown black males, between the ages of 16 to 20 and between 5-foot-11-inches to 6-feet-tall ordered Chinese food from New China Dragon Kitchen and had it sent to the Valley Stream residence. A 42-year-old female delivery person walked up to the residence and was physically assaulted by the three men, who then stole her food and phone and drove away in her small SUV in an unknown direction. The victim suffered small abrasions to her legs and arms. She refused medical attention at the scene.
