The Baldwin Bombers Youth Football League is getting ready to bring its season to a close, said a team coach.

The team, a local youth club that plays in the Nassau County Youth Football League, just finished a three-game home stand, where they beat Rosedale, Syosset and Inwood, Thomas Reilly said.

Still to come: two more away games, the first against East Rockaway on Oct. 25, and the second against Long Beach on Nov. 1. The team finishes up the season at home on Nov. 8 at Baldwin Middle School.

The Bombers team is a USA Football Heads Up certified program, which serves children from Baldwin, Oceanside, Freeport, Rockville Centre, South Hempstead and other communities. The league also fields a team of 12 year olds.
