Three people entered a home on Jay Court in North Woodmere through a back door at 3:50 a.m. on Oct. 1, according to Nassau police.
Two sets of car keys were stolen from inside of the house and the three people entered two of the vehicles that were parked in the driveway, police said.
There was an additional person inside of a dark-colored sport utility vehicle parked outside of the residence. The two stolen vehicles and the other vehicle left the scene and headed west on Jay Court toward Cedarhurst Street.
There is no further description of the four people at this time, according to police. The investigation is continuing, officials said.
