Freeport honors Class of 2020

Freeport School District administrators and staff joined together on May 29 to hold a car parade for the Freeport High School Class of 2020.

The parade began at the high school at 11 a.m. and made its way around the village, hitting major streets like Atlantic Avenue, Guy Lombardo Avenue, Columbus Avenue, Seaman Avenue, Long Beach Avenue and Merrick Road.

Although the large parade had to be broken up into parts in order to allow traffic to get through, district staff members were able to finish the route to celebrate their high school seniors' accomplishments.
