The crash caused the driver of the Mercury to lose control of his vehicle and strike a tree, police said. He was pronounced deceased by a Nassau County Police medic.
The driver of the Dodge Grand Caravan remained at scene. There does not appear to be any criminality at this point and the investigation is ongoing, according to police. The victim’s identity is being withheld at this time.
