Halloween Paint Night

Join your friends at the East Meadow Public Library on Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. and paint on a canvas to create a Halloween themed work of art in just 90 minutes. There is a $2 materials fee. Sign up October 8.

A Taste of East Meadow

East Meadow High School would like to invite you to take part in our upcoming Homecoming event “A Taste of East Meadow” on Saturday, October 20th. The goals of the event are to raise money for student athletic scholarship as well as to involve the community in our school events. The individuals participating in our homecoming will be our students, and their family members, teachers, as well as members of the community. Advertising through email, phone calls, websites, and school newsletters, will ensure the local community has been well informed of this lovely and exciting event. Veronica O'Donnell Memorial 5K & Fun Run

The Parent Teacher’s Association at McVey Elementary School will be hosting the Veronica O'Donnell Memorial 5K & Fun Run on Oct. 21 at 8 a.m. There is a $15 pre-registration fee for the 5K for East Meadow students and a $20 race day fee. Non-students have a $20 pre-registration fee and a $25 race day fee. Fees for the one-mile fun run are $10 for pre-registration and $15 on race day. Family registration is $65. Activities include inscribing your name on a bib, music and entertainment provided by DreamCatcher Entertainment and rewards for all finishers.
