Drag Queen Story Hour 

Bella Noche, the drag mermaid storyteller, is back for an East Meadow Public Library program at the Samanea New York Market, the former Source Mall, in Westbury on Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. and again on Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. The program focuses on inclusion, acceptance and that everyone is special. Guests will hear a story and then do crafts. This is a wonderful time for those from 3 to 9 years old. All children must have their grownup present. Register by calling 516-794-2570 ext. 560.

Solstice Sunset at Pinot’s Palett

Come to Pinot’s Palett in East Meadow and enjoy painting warm, bold sunsets at the lake surrounded by beautiful colors and the peaceful sound of the water, one of the greatest joys of summer! The studio has a delicious food menu and a beautiful wine bar. They serve multiple craft and domestic beers. Come try one of their signature cocktails: Ginger rose, Picasso Punch, Spicy Bloody Mary, Margarita white wine spritzer and the Salvador Sangria. For dessert they have Tipsy Scoop alcohol infused ice cream. Flavors such as vanilla bean bourbon and salted caramel whisky. This class is on Jan. 19 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is $39. Psychic Night at Borrelli’s

Once a month, the back room of Borrelli’s Italian Restaurant fills with psychics and mediums who set up tarot cards, gem stones and other spiritual tools to help guests seeking advice and guidance or looking to connect with a relative who has passed on. Psychic Night returns on Jan. 20 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Come with friends and speak to one of the psychics and mediums, all of who work through The psychic agency hosts similar psychic nights at restaurants throughout the area.
