Car stolen at knifepoint in Inwood

Six men allegedly stole another man’s car at knifepoint near the Inwood Long Island Rail Road station in Inwood at 9:54 p.m. on June 21., police said.

The man, 21, was approached by the half dozen men in a parking lot at 28 Redfern Ave., in Inwood, according to police. The men were wearing dark colored clothing and black bandanas over their faces. One had a knife and demanded the keys for the red 2015 Honda, police said. All six men, who were described as black, got into the car and left heading north on Doughty Boulevard.
