The East Rockaway Education Foundation will go virtual for its annual 5K, 10K and half marathon fundraiser between March 20 and 28. At a previous in-person event, Lauren Darienzo took first place among the women runners.

The East Rockaway Education Foundation will go virtual for its annual fundraiser this year as it hosts a 5K, 10K and half marathon between March 20 and 28.
Proceeds will benefit the organization, which “was created in 1998 as an independent, non-profit organization to provide financial and creative support to the East Rockaway public schools by identifying and mobilizing available resources and by fostering partnerships” and links among schools, community, businesses, and industry.”
