Building robots in Franklin Square

Posted

Children and one adult learned how to build and code robots out of LEGO pieces on March 2 at the Franklin Square Public Library.

The class was taught by Pauline Badamo, founder of The Welding Workshop, LLC. As part of the class, she showed students how to build and control the robots using a smart phone application. Additionally, the students learned about sensors, motors and coding.

Badamo said she would hold more robotics classes, exploring various platforms, in the coming months.
