Cops search for suspect in Franklin Square knifepoint robbery

Nassau County police are looking for a suspect involved in a knifepoint robbery at the BP gas station in Franklin Square on March 15 at 7 a.m.

According to police, a black male suspect entered the store that morning and went behind the counter. He then allegedly approached a 63-year-old male employee with a knife and demanded money from the register, before fleeing the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as being about 5-foot-11-inches tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, black flip-flips with white socks and a green facemask.
