Belmont Park closed it's doors for the season with a rainy series of races

Belmont Racetrack’s lights went dark for the season on Sunday night, but not before racing fans had one last chance to catch some of the best racing in the country.
There were a total of seven stakes races over the weekend, with prizes of more than $125,000 available to whichever horse could conquer the muddy, sloppy Belmont track.
There were plenty of prizes — and fun to be had as well — for any race fans willing to brave the weather, as attendees enjoyed a fall festival, wine tasting, pumpkin picking, and other activities to celebrate the close of another successful racing season.
