Overcast Two dead after car accident in North New Hyde Park

Two women died in a car accident that occurred on Nov. 28 in North New Hyde Park.
At Marcus Avenue near the intersection of Union Turnpike, a 2009 Toyota Corolla was found by police overturned against a pole. The passengers, aged 39 and 71, were ejected from the vehicle and suffered serious trauma. They were pronounced deceased by a Northshore/LIJ ambulance medic at the scene.
The driver, 41, was removed from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital, where he remains in serious critical condition.
