More than 30 volunteers helped 16 children and young adults with special needs during the JCC of the Greater Five Towns’ “Play Golf” day hosted by the Woodmere Club on Sept. 28.
The JCC-run program made possible by the Sports for Youth initiative of the UJA-Federation of New York allows participants with physical, emotional, sensory and developmental disabilities to learn golf skills and techniques.
