Babe with a Blade was welcomed into Hewlett with a ribbon-cutting on June 20. The Hewlett-Woodmere Business Association welcomed Babe with a Blade to the neighborhood with a ribbon-cutting ceremony outside the building. Lawrence resident Nicole DaCosta-Finocchio and her husband, Justin, own the business at 5 Franklin Ave. in Hewlett.
“Babe with a Blade will provide customers with permanent makeup in places that are do not have a lot of hair such as the scalp or eyebrows,” DaCosta-Finocchio said. “I do this by tattooing fake hair follicles to create the illusion that its hair.”
