Bronx man caught in Inwood with loaded gun

Nassau police said they found a Bronx man with a loaded gun after stopping a gray 2019 Jeep Compass by Burnside Avenue in Inwood at 8:50 p.m. on June 12.

Police saw the vehicle heading east on Burnside Avenue and the driver failed to signal while changing lanes, according to police.

During the traffic stop and subsequent investigation, a loaded gun was found inside the vehicle.  Gabriel E. Seale, 33, of Nelson Avenue, was arrested.

He is charges with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree criminal possession of a firearm and failure to signal. Seale is expected to be arraigned on June 13 at First District Court in Hempstead.  

Police reporter that he was previously arrested on April 1 for third-degree criminal mischief and criminal obstruction of breathing. Seale is free without bail on those charges.
