Falling into autumn at the JCC festival in Lawrence

Along with the fun — carnival games, inflatables and prizes — the Marion & Aaron Gural JCC aimed to showcase what the organization offers at the Harrison Kerr Family Campus at 140 Central Ave. in Lawrence at its inaugural fall festival on Sept. 15.

Gural JCC Chief Executive Officer Aaron Rosenfeld said one of the vital roles of a Jewish community center is to serve as “a space where community comes together to celebrate, collaborate, recreate, learn and grow.”

“For instance, many people are not aware that we have a magnificent art studio equipped with a kiln on the campus that offers art classes, parties and drop in programs,” he said.  “We hope that by bringing the community together at the fall festival they will be amazed and excited by the all that The Marion & Aaron Gural JCC has to offer.”

The JCC also holds many of its programs at 207 Grove Ave. in Cedarhurst. For more information, call (516) 569-6733 or go to https://www.guraljcc.org/.
