Four robbed at gunpoint in North Woodmere

Four people had just parked a car in the driveway of their North Woodmere home, when two men ran toward them, one holding a hand gun and yelled to get on the ground at 4:55 a.m. on Sept. 9, according to Nassau County Fourth Squad detectives.

The men allegedly took jewelry and an unspecified amount of money from the people and left the scene in a dark-colored sedan. No one was injured, police said.

One of the men is described as black, roughly 5-8, weighing 230 pounds, with black braids, wearing a blue shirt with white denim jeans. The other is also described as black, 5-11, with a thin build, short black hair, wearing a black shirt and dark-colored pants.
