A Hempstead man was arrested on Sept. 12 after an incident in Uniondale, according to Nassau police.
A 2019 Chevrolet Malibu was allegedly driving south on Nassau Road at 2:20 a.m. Officers stopped the car with defective headlights in front of 930 Nassau Road. The investigation allegedly uncovered a RF-15 pistol, two loaded ammunition magazines, and two unloaded ammunition magazines, police said.
Jarrad Wall, 33, was arrested. He is charged with criminal possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition feeding devices, and multiple traffic infractions.
He will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Sept. 12.
