"We warmly welcome all community members to join us for these meaningful events throughout the holiday season. Come be a part of this beautiful tradition as we light the menorah, share in festive spirit, and create lasting memories.”
Added Nassau County patrols are planned for resident safety and to "address any potential safety concerns," while providing a police presence with the aim of having a fast response to emergencies.
The village is also continuing its installation of surveillance cameras at strategic entry and exit points across the village, Lawrence officials said.
