Three men allegedly robbed a Hewlett liquor store on Sept. 15. Nassau County Crime Stoppers is asking for information on the incident.

Three men allegedly stole merchandise from KSN Discount Wine and Liquor on Franklin Avenue in Hewlett at 5:51 p.m. on Sept. 15, according to police.

A man, 33 tried to stop the men from leaving the store without paying for the items. He was sprayed in the face by one of the men with what police said was “an unknown substance,” which caused his face pain and burning, police added.

The men fled on foot and are all described as black, between 20- and 30-years-old.

Police are asking anyone with information on this incident to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-8477. All calls are confidential.
