Nassau County collection of medical supplies runs through April 3

County Executive Laura Curran, Police Commissioner of Police Patrick J. Ryder and Office of Emergency Managment  Commissioner Steven Morelli said that Nassau County will begin accepting donations of medical supplies at Eisenhower Park due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The prefered medical supplies should be in unopened boxes/packages and include: N95 Surgical Masks, eye protection such as goggles and face shields, nitrile gloves, disposable medical gowns, shoe cover/booties, no-touch thermometers, thermometer probe cover, HEPA filters for ventilators/anesthesia achines, antibacterial wipes, disinfecting wipes (Clorox/Lysol) and hand sanitizer.

Donations are being collected at the Nassau County Public Safety Parking Lot at Field 3 in Eisenhower Park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., March 30 to April 3.
