Fair Queens man caught with gun in Inwood

Queens resident Joshua E. Vasquez was arrested in Inwood with a loaded gun on June 6.

Nassau police arrested a Queens resident in Inwood on June 6 who allegedly had a loaded gun in his car.
Police saw a black 1010 Nissan Maxima headed east on Bayview at 9:40 p.m., with dark tinted windows. Officers stopped the car and the subsequent investigation found the firearm.
Joshua E. Vasquez, 20, of Beach 65th Street in the Arverne section of Queens, was arrested. Vasquez is charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm, unlicensed operation, failure to signal and equipment violations. He will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on June 7.
