Six people, including a Nassau County police officer, were injured in a two-car crash at the intersection of Lawrence and Wanser avenues in Lawrence at 5:36 p.m. on Jan. 9.
A police sports utility vehicle collided with another vehicle that included three children and two adults, police said. All six people were taken to local hospital for treatment. The extent of the injuries is unclear.
The subsequent police investigation has deemed that no criminality was involved.
