Thinking ‘pink’ with Realty Connect

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Realty Connect USA in partnership with Hewlett House and Panera Bread hosted its second annual Think Pink Bagel Breakfast at its Woodbury headquarters on Oct. 4.

Realty Connect USA agents and brokers forgot about the “carb counting” and made a difference by going PINK and supporting Panera’s Pink Ribbon Bagel initiative. On that Wednesday, Panera of Syosset held a one- day event where 100 percent of the net sales of Pink Ribbon Bagels sold to Realty Connect USA and many others were donated to help the fight against Breast Cancer.

Hewlett House Executive Director Geri Barish, a multiple-time breast cancer survivor, was the guest speaker. Hewlett House at 86 East Rockaway Ave., Hewlett, is a cancer resource and learning center that provides empowerment to women and men experiencing the effects of cancer through outreach services, library services, as well as classes, workshops and social events.
