Polk Street School Principal Gilbert Torossian joined kindergartners at an end-of-year show in 2016. The beloved Franklin Square principal has not been seen at the school since the week of Feb. 5, leaving students and parents to question the school district as to why. There was an outpouring of support for Torossian at a special Board of Education meeting on Feb. 28.
