Teachers from Meadow Elementary School drove through the streets of Baldwin Harbor May 8 to greet students and their families from a safe distance away.
The school hosted the Meadow Car Parade as a way to show appreciation for students, who have been working on their schoolwork from home as schools remain closed for the remainder of the academic year.
The caravan of teachers began at Meadow Elementary School, 880 Jackson Street, at around 12 p.m. and headed to Bertha Drive, continuing around Baldwin Harbor.
