Signs of fall at Bowling Green Elementary School

Posted

October has begun painting the leaves on the trees shades of red, orange and yellow, turning East Meadow into a lush, autumn landscape. Third grade students at Bowling Green Elementary School in the East Meadow School District studied signs of the changing seasons such as this by acting as nature documentarians.

On Oct. 9, they created telescopes and explored the school grounds to track other signs of the autumn season. The students tracked their findings in a journal before sharing them with their classmates.
