Posted

The Island Park Public Library would like to thank the community for supporting us and passing our budget. The results were YES 823, NO 371 and 944 votes for Joseph Pontecorvo, who was re-elected as a trustee of Island Park Library for a five-year term. Pontecorvo currently serves as vice president of the library’s board of trustees.

We are very happy to begin curbside service on Monday, June 22. Please call the Library at (516) 432-0122, ext. 228 to request items. When we have your items ready, we will call you to set up an appointment for contactless curbside pickup. The bag of books and/or DVDs will be placed in your trunk. Items may also be requested online through our website, islandparklibrary.org. Also, requests can be made through our website’s chat line.

All procedures have been developed with your safety in mind. Please also rest assured that all items that are returned to us will be quarantined for 72 hours, as recommended, before being placed back on our shelves. We hope to hear from you soon and look forward to seeing you in our parking lot! We look forward to hearing from you!
