Taxi driver arrested after crashing into parked cars

A taxi driver was arrested and charged with DWI after crashing into seven cars on East Broadway in Long Beach on the morning of Oct. 26.

Psilakis Kostantino, 57, from Long Beach was working for All Island Taxi when he struck seven cars parked on East Broadway at around 10:27 a.m. on Oct. 26, Sgt. Richard DePalma of the Long Beach Police Department told the Herald. He added that there were no passengers in the taxi and no other reported injuries, besides Kostantino, who was transported to an area hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Kostantino, of West Olive Street, was later arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs.
