Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce hosts 'A Night Under the Stars'

Local residents, elected officials and honorees attended the Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce’s “Night Under the Stars” event last Saturday at the Mary’s Maris Stella Knights of Columbus.

This year’s honorees were Robert Cribbin, of Lynbrook’s Office of Emergency Management, Bruce Levitt, co-owner of of Mur-Lee’s Men’s and Boy’s Wear, Teacher of the Year William Luzzi, who teaches at Lynbrook High School, Lynbrook Police Department Det. Robert Leonard and former Chamber President Stephen Wangel.

The event included dinner, an open bar, dancing and raffles. In addition to the guests of honor, notable attendees included Mayor Alan Beach, Chamber of Commerce President Cory Hirsch and Harry Levitt, Bruce Levitt’s brother, who traveled from Florida for the festivities.
