The Lynbrook Titans carnival, which has been an annual tradition since 2018, serves as a fundraising event for the Lynbrook Titans Youth Football program.
The motto of the Lynbrook Titans is “We are Titans, We are Family” and every year the Titans carnival brings the Lynbrook community together. Located at Greis Park, the carnival kicked off last Thursday evening with a burst of color and energy, as a variety of amusement rides lit up the evening sky.
Since 2021, the Dreamlands Amusements has taken and supplied the carnival with its attractions. This year, the carnival had over 20 rides like the ferris wheel, sea dragon, and a new zero gravity ride. The kiddie pavilion provided attractions for a younger audience as well.
According to Tom Clancy, Titans president, this event was an “opportunity for everyone to come together for good old fashioned fun.” Carnival goers enjoyed zeppoles, stuffed animals, games, and prizes.
Looking ahead towards the future, Clancy said that the carnival will get better every year.
