Light Drizzle Fog/Mist Organ donation activist, East Rockaway resident Taylor Clarke dies at 24
East Rockaway resident Taylor Rose Clarke died on July 9. She was 24.
Clarke received a life-saving heart transplant on April 20, 2016. She was then inspired to become an activist for organ donation as a volunteer through LiveOnNY, where she educated others and encouraged countless people to sign up to become organ donors.
LiveOnNY has touched the Clarke family’s lives in many ways, especially in the way they honored Taylor when she became an organ donor, which turned the family’s tragedy into a gift for others.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to the LiveOnNY Foundation in Taylor’s honor and memory.
Services for Clarke included a wake on July 13 at Perry Funeral Home in Lynbrook and a funeral Mass on July 14 at St. Raymond Church in East Rockaway.
