Posted

The Malverne School District carried out its annual tradition of honoring teachers and staff members who have achieved notable milestones and accomplishments during Superintendent’s Conference Day on Sept. 1.

Teachers, staff, members of the Board of Education and administrators applauded these individuals for going above and beyond for the district. This includes Cinthia Thorp for earning the recognition of 35 years of service; Barbara Krauciunas, Jo-An Renzullo and Michael Messina for achieving 25 years of service; Jessica Finkelstein for earning the recognition of Outstanding Staff Member; and Beth Mahony for earning the recognition of Outstanding Support Staff Member.

During Superintendent’s Conference Day, several speeches were provided by administrators, including district Superintendent Dr. Lorna Lewis, who welcomed staff and provided words of motivation as they enter the 2021-22 school year.

In addition, this year’s keynote speaker was Empowerment Coach Keith L. Brown, who filled the Howard T. Herber Middle School auditorium with positive energy and inspiration.
