Pastor arrested for forcibly touching a man in Oceanside

Police arrested an Oceanside man for sexually abusing a 22-year-old man.

The incident occurred on Oct. 26 at around 12:30 a.m. in Oceanside. Thomas Moriarty, 62, of of New Hyde Park was allegedly responsible for the sexual assault. Moriarty is employed as a pastor by the Holy Spirit Church located in New Hyde Park charged with forcible touching. He was arraigned at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead on Oct. 31.
