A Uniondale man was charged with assault and two other crimes after Nassau County Child Protective Services saw what was called “visible bruising” on the child’s body during a Feb. 5 visit.
After CPS called 911 Nassau police responded and after their investigation they arrested Ranferi Orozco, 26, of Hempstead Boulevard, for the alleged assault that was said to have occurred on Feb. 4 in Uniondale.
Orozco is charged with two counts of assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and criminal possession of a weapon. He will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Feb. 6.
