House fire in Oceanside under investigation

Oceanside firefighters responded to the fire on Carrel Street Friday afternoon.

Police are investigating a house fire that broke out on Carrel Street on Friday, after 1 p.m. in Oceanside.

Officers arrived to find the home fully engulfed in flames, causing significant damage. The Oceanside Fire Department quickly responded and extinguished the blaze.

All occupants safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported. The Nassau County Fire Marshal is assisting with the investigation, which remains ongoing.
