Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Friday morning, December 27, at the Dunkin' Donuts located at 3151 Lawson Boulevard.
Police said a male suspect entered the store just before 10 a.m. and attempted to steal multiple packages of merchandise. When two employees, ages 19 and 47, confronted him outside, a physical altercation ensued, forcing the suspect to drop the merchandise. He then fled by boarding a westbound train at the Oceanside station. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, last seen wearing a black ski mask, blue hoodie layered over a green sweatshirt, black jeans, and black sneakers.
