Oceanside High School hosted the district's second annual film festival April 8, screening over 40 student-made films ranging from comedies and commercials to music videos and documentaries.

The event was complete with a red carpet for the stars, "Foovie" awards for the winners in each category, and plenty of surprises for the audience. At the end of the night, audience members selected their favorite entry, which was given the "Festival Favorite" award.

Admission to the film festival was free of charge, but proceeds collected from the sales of DVDs and snacks will go to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund and Oceanside Community Service.
