More Elmont classes quarantined

More students at the Dutch Broadway School will be learning remotely, Elmont Superintendent Kenneth Rosner announced on Oct. 22, after a parent of a student tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

None of the students or staff member have tested positive for the virus in this case, he said, but out of an abundance of caution, the student and his or her class will not be able to return to the school building until the 14-day  quarantine period is completed.

The building, meanwhile, will be cleaned and disinfected.
