Nassau County police are investigating a shooting in which two people were injured that took place Sunday morning at around 2 a.m. in Baldwin.
According to detectives, 1st Precinct officers and Hempstead police responded to a call for shots fired at D’Ambiance Bar and Lounge, at 1177 Grand Ave.
Police said there was an altercation inside the bar that spilled into the parking lot. Once outside, an unidentified man fired a weapon, striking a male and female victim, both 31 years old.
The suspect fled in an unknown direction, police said. Both victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and the investigation is ongoing.
