Crime watch: Rockville Centre

Arrest

On April 22 at 11:24 a.m., a 37-year-old Rockville Centre woman was arrested and charged with second- and third-degree menacing after an incident in the vicinity of North Centre Avenue.

Larceny

At 10:49 a.m., a motorist reported that her catalytic converter was stolen from her car while it was parked at 165 N. Village Ave.

A customer notified police that someone stole her credit card while she was at Cabo restaurant on April 19 at 9:03 p.m.

Fire

On April 21 at 12:35 a.m., a Seaman Avenue resident reported a fire in his home. The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Nassau County Police Department Arson Squad deemed the blaze to be accidental.

Robbery

At 1:04 p.m. on April 23, a delivery driver notified police that someone stole his car while he left it running and unattended in Municipal Parking Field No. 7. He was also struck by the vehicle as it left the scene.

Graffiti

The building manager at 119 N. Park Ave. reported that someone damaged several air conditioning units with paint on April 19 at 11:10 a.m.

Narcotics destruction

On April 20 at 11:37 a.m., 18 pounds of pharmaceuticals were transferred from the Rockville Centre Police Department’s drug take-back box and transferred to the NCPD for destruction.

Criminal mischief

At 6:43 a.m. on April 18, a Reid Avenue resident notified police that someone damaged the doors, hood and trunk of her car while it was parked at her home.

Unusual incident

A Raymond Street resident reported that someone opened a credit card account using his personal information on April 18 at 2:06 p.m.
