A Seaford resident was one of three young men killed in a single-car crash early Sunday morning in Bethpage, Nassau County police said.
According to detectives, the 2022 Dodge Durango was traveling east on Stymus Avenue near Carol Drive around 1 a.m. on May 11 when it struck a tree and caught fire. The Bethpage Fire Department responded and extinguished the blaze, but all three occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police later identified the victims as Gino Vicale, 20, of Seaford; Nicholas Rivera, 20, of Glendale; and Vincent Cavaliere, 20, of Bethpage.
The crash remains under investigation.
