Sea Cliff residents can rock out to the music of over 20 local bands on porches on Saturday at Love Your Neighbor Projects' fourth annual Rock for Love Porchfest.

"Sea Cliff has always been known for its music, artists, and community, and this event is the perfect blend of it all," said Molly Deegan, the owner and broker at Branch Real Estate Group.

Deegan, who grew up in Sea Cliff, added that it was an honor to be the event's lead sponsor. She noted that her firm and Love Your Neighbor share similar values on social goodness. "Porchfest is one of the most creative and exciting events to come to Sea Cliff in a long time."

Closed Captions, the Sea Cliff Porch Pickers, and Kingfisher are some of the numerous local bands contributing their sounds to the ten-hour walking music festival, set for May 17, 11 a.m.-10 p.m., with a rain date of May 18 if necessary.

In addition, this year's festival will feature a built-in dinner break with local restaurants, Foster, Still Partners, Tavern 227, and The Onione Tree providing grab-and-go meals for attendees.

Residents will be able to purchase a $20 map of the village detailing the locations and times at which the bands that have signed on will perform on the porches of some of Sea Cliff's homes. Attendees can ditch the paper map and access an interactive digital tour map for $40. Finally, the VIP package contains a Porchfest shirt, one stainless steel water bottle, and one Love Your Neighbor Project towel for $100.

Alongside Branch Real Estate Group, the event has several sponsors, including BlueSunflower, Inter-Insurance Agency, Coast Psychology, Conscious Kitchen, and several other businesses.

"Porchfest fuels our mission of social goodness all year long," Love Your Neighbor Project's Chief Neighbor Jaime Teich said. "While neighbors are dancing in the streets, they're also helping us expand food access, launch kindness campaigns, host free community events, support local nonprofits and businesses, and quickly support neighbors in times of need."

Teich said that this year, for every ticket sold, Love Your Neighbor will donate one to the 400 residents who rely on the St. Boniface Food Pantry. She also explained that Porchfest marks the anniversary of the charity's creation, now in its fifth year, adding that she felt it offers a much-needed moment of unity during what can be a tense time.

"At its core, Porchfest is everything we believe in," she said. "Community, connection, and doing good—all while having a really good time!"
