Nassau County Police are looking for two men who allegedly stole an electronic doorbell from the Baldwin Best Buy on Sunrise Highway, and injured an employee as they fled the store.

According to a press release from the NCPD, the two men walked into the Best Buy just before 5 p.m. on April 24 and put a Nest Video doorbell — an electronic doorbell that allows users to see who is at the front door, valued at $229 — into a white shopping bag. When a female Best Buy employee stopped them, one of the men allegedly pushed a shopping into her, injuring her right arm, and the other pushed her to the ground, injuring her right ankle. Both fled in an unknown direction.

The two suspects are described as black men, the first being 30-35 years old, and the other 50-60. The younger one, according to police, is 6-feet tall and has short hair, and the older one has short gray hair with a full beard and mustache.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding the incident contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
