Posted

Members of Malverne’s Boy Scout Troop 24 were honored during its Court of Honor ceremony at Our Lady of Lourdes Church and School on Oct. 1. Parents, along with trustees from Malverne’s village board and State Assemblywoman Judy Griffin, attended the ceremony as several boy scouts were recognized for their achievements.
“It’s amazing to see all of the effort that these kids put in,” said Deputy Mayor Perry Cuocci at the village’s Oct. 2 board meeting. “[Scout leader] Carl Prizzi and the other leaders deserve congratulations for all of their efforts.”
Malverne Mayor Keith Corbett added, “We really have a great scouting tradition.”
Each Boy Scout received a certificate of achievement for their efforts to serve the community. To learn more about Troop 24, go to bit.ly/30SB7K9.
