Accident

On June 27 at 1:50 a.m., a Garden City Park resident was struck by a vehicle while he was walking across Sunrise Highway. He was transported to South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside.

Aided

At 4:28 p.m. on June 23, a Valley Stream resident was found by police during a well-being check for a possible missing person at the Hampton Inn Rockvile Centre. Police forced their way into his hotel room and tended to him. He was heavily bleeding and attempted to commit suicide. He was transported to MSSN hospital for treatment.

Criminal mischief

On June 17 at 5:58 p.m., a motorist reported that her tire was damaged while her car was parked on Sunrise Highway.

At 9:33 a.m. on June 24, a pastor at United Church of Rockville Centre, 430 Morris Ave., reported that a pride flag was removed from the building and damage to the awning occurred. The damage and flag were valued at $700.

Larceny

On June 15 at 4:30 p.m., a patron at a bar on S. Park Avenue said her cell phone was stolen.

At 12:55 p.m. on June 23, a Hempstead Avenue resident reported that an unknown person stole her iPhone while she was shopping at Rite Aide. It was valued at $800.

A resident of 55 Grand Ave. reported on June 21 at 1:20 p.m. that his mail package containing a suitcase was stolen from the building vestibule. It was valued at $150.

Robbery

On June 24 at 9:25 p.m., a Uniondale resident reported that a vehicle struck his car while he was driving on Long Beach Road. During an exchange of information, the victim reported that the operator of the other vehicle took his iPhone by force and left the scene.
