Arrest

On Nov. 23 at 12:19 p.m., a 20-year-old Brooklyn resident was arrested and charged with fourth-degree attempted grand larceny during an investigation after she attempted to take possession of a package from a UPS driver who was delivering it to a residence.

Burglary

At 8 a.m. on Nov. 23, the owner of a home under construction reported that someone stole appliances valued at more than $20,000 from the residence.

Criminal mischief

A village Parks Department employee reported that someone damaged the rubber surface of the playground at Reverend Days Park on Nov. 29 at 2:02 p.m.

On Dec. 6 at 6:25 a.m., a Rockville Centre School District employee reported that someone damaged a shed at a Rockville Centre school.

Graffiti

At 7:29 a.m. on Dec. 2, graffiti was found on several Merrick Road and Sunrise Highway businesses.

Larceny

A homeowner reported that her jewelry was stolen from her house on Nov. 24 at 9:27 a.m.

On Nov. 28 at 11:24 a.m., a gas station employee reported that someone left without paying after pumping gas.

At 3:29 p.m. on Nov. 28, a motorist reported that his car was stolen from his driveway.

A motorist reported that someone stole automotive parts from his vehicle while it was parked on Sunrise Highway on Dec. 4 at 7:18 a.m.

Leaving the scene

On Nov. 29 at 2 p.m., a driver reported that her car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while it was parked in a Merrick Road parking lot.

At 1:42 p.m. on Dec. 4, a motorist reported that her car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while it was parked in a Merrick Road parking lot.

A driver reported that his car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while driving on N. Centre Avenue on Dec. 5 at 7:05 p.m.
