The girl scouts of Troop 2144 recently donated boxes of cookies to Baldwin Stop & Shop employees.

Members of Girl Scout Troop 2144 recently donated their remaining boxes of cookies to the employees of Stop & Shop in Baldwin.
“These heroes have been feeding our community throughout this crisis and we wanted to make sure they were properly acknowledged for the critical support they are providing to the community,” said Marilyn Pignataro, the leader of Girl Scout Senior Troop 2144.
Because the essential workers have been helping to feed others, the girl scouts wanted to sweeten their day — literally.
