Hewlett High School student Sachin Ramphal inducted into National Technical Honor Society

Hewlett High School student Sachin Ramphal, who is studying Animation and Digital Media Skills at Nassau BOCES Barry Tech, was inducted into the National Technical Honor Society for his academic achievements.

Dr. Carla Theodorou, Executive Director, Nassau BOCES Department of Regional Schools and Instructional Programs, said that Ramphal is an example of an outstanding scholar who earned exclusive membership to the NTHS through superior scholastic achievement, dedicated community service and the enthusiastic endorsement of his teachers.

“We’re extremely proud of our NTHS scholars, especially their unwavering commitment to academic excellence in these challenging times,” Theodorou said. “Barry Tech students have the advanced technical knowledge, integrity and maturity that will give them an advantage in new and emerging industries.”

Barry Tech is a career and technical education high school  through Nassau BOCES that offers over 40 hands-on courses designed to help students develop the skills they need to get a step ahead in their chosen career fields.
